We invite all students to participate in the “My Town” contest, organized by the Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny nr 1 w Lublinie and Wydział Nauk Humanistycznych KUL Jana Pawła II. Rules of participation:
The student shall make a work in English – an album entitled “My
Town”.
- The student shall make a work in English – an album entitled “My Town”.
- The topic of the work is the presentation of the city/town where the student lives, in written and pictorial form.
- The album shall be in A4 format and shall not contain more than 10 completed pages (introduction, pictures, descriptions to pictures, conclusion) not counting covers.
- The contestant may use available English-language materials (books, the Internet, etc.) but not on the basis of “pasting” ready-made texts. The participant should use “own” language appropriate to age and skills.
- The text should be written by hand, not by computer.
- The layout of the work shall be in the form of any painting technique (gouache, acrylic, watercolor, dry and oil pastel, pencil, ink, etc.) excluding collage and other cut-out techniques such as pasting or tear-outs.
