Ralph McGaw

English native speaker

I've traveled and lived in many places around the world, including Polynesia, the USA, Sweden, the UK, and for the past few years have been living permanently in Poland. I'm a teacher with many years of experience, having taught both individual students and conducted language courses in various schools in the US, UK and Poland. I'm passionate about American football and a 3-time Polish National Team Coach. I also work as an advisor on the boards of companies in different industries. In addition to English, I'm also fluent in Chinese, which I learned in the US Army.

"Polish is still a work in progress."

I teach using the innovative “Student-Centered-Instruction” (SCI) teaching method, which breaks all the rules of the traditional and passive way of teaching, which is popular and used in most language schools. I teach English fast, effective and efficiently. I place great emphasis on making speaking fluent and natural. As a result, my students are able to speak English knowledgeably, confidently and naturally. I’m more than just a native speaker – I’m an experienced and highly educated teacher. I’m aware that our knowledge and role as foreign language teachers is essential to your child’s personal and professional success. That’s why I modify my training materials, individually tailored to your child’s needs. Based on experience, I’m convinced that language and its culture cannot be taught in a hermetic environment, confined within the walls of the classroom. That’s why English classes also take place in a natural and real environment, on sports fields, museums or parks. I go beyond the usual patterns, barriers and limitations of closed lecture halls. As a result, my pupils break through the barrier of speaking English exceptionally quickly. I make every effort to ensure that reactions to an unexpected situation are quick and speaking becomes intuitive.
